Would you be willing to let me post it in my mod's description? With that said, I still really liked your guide. This should be fixed in more recent versions. You should gain archetype experience from 'View Lightly', recover a thesis from 'Read Fully', and gain a spell from 'Study Intensely'. The version you're using, and I think the version Ultimate Skyrim uses, has bugged Grimoires. It is possible to translate any ancient text on your own without a translation tome, it's just a rare occurrence. I wanted to have a few tomes that could only be translated by the player's efforts. The lack of translation tomes for three languages was intentional, not a bug. If your enchanting skill was higher, you would be able to study the artifacts properly without breaking them, and you would then get a message on what archetype you studied.

When studying artifacts, you will break them if your enchanting skill is too low, which is what happened in the video. For example, you can fairly easily make a potion with Resist Frost, Resist Fire, and Resist Shock using those elixirs. One of the main bonuses to using the alembic to make elixirs, is the elixirs have four copies of the same effect, essentially allowing you to add an additional effect onto other potions for free, or easily making a potion with three effects. This is a great video, probably the most comprehensive I've seen of my mod.
